Balneário Camboriú's zoo is part of a nature complex with around a thousand animals — birds, mammals, reptiles and fish — plus an aquarium and a museum.
It also focuses on conservation and environmental education, with an emphasis on rescuing and rehabilitating wild animals. It's located along the BR-101 highway.
